'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League comeback
Kane marks his 100th goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has stated that his desire in coming back to the Premier League has diminished and he is open to discuss a new contract with Bayern Munich.
The accomplished striker is at the moment two years through the four-year deal he signed when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the transfer window of 2023.
The 32-year-old forward has accumulated an impressive 103 goals in 106 matches for the German side, playing a key role in them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which represented the maiden major achievement of his notable career.
Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has earlier stated that he would be pleased to see Kane go back to England, where he lacks 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring record of 260.
However, the England leader has now indicated that he is no longer as enthusiastic about coming back home as he earlier was, and would definitely contemplate prolonging his time in Bavaria.
"In terms of extending longer, I could definitely see that," he stated.
"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be open to talk and have an frank conversation.
"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so goes and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not considering about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have realized in my career is that different options and different timings happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."
Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the record top scorer for both Tottenham and England and lately became the speediest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five leagues, attaining the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a honor had eluded him until he won the German title last season.
Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would respond after breaking his trophy wait, but now feels it has made him motivated for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.
"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.
"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
